The weather data, maps, rankings, scores, and analyses presented on this website and delivered via API are based on forecast data from the National Weather Service (NWS). Forecast data represents expected conditions and may differ from actual observed weather.
Weather forecasts are inherently uncertain and subject to change. Conditions may vary significantly by location, elevation, timing, and local factors. Just Right Weather and its Perfect Weather Index (PWI) scores are derived calculations — they are not official NWS forecasts, warnings, or advisories.
For official forecasts, watches, warnings, and emergency information, consult the National Weather Service directly at weather.gov.
No guarantee is made regarding the completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or reliability of any information provided on this site or through the API. Scores and playability ratings are provided for general informational and planning purposes only and should not be used as the sole basis for decisions related to safety, event operations, financial commitments, or any activity where weather conditions could pose a risk.
By using this website or any Just Right Weather API product, you agree that the site owner and its contributors shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, damage, cancellation cost, or inconvenience resulting from the use of or reliance upon any information provided. This includes losses resulting from forecast inaccuracies, weather variability, data outages, or changes in conditions.
Access to Just Right Weather API products is granted under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license subject to the following conditions:
One license per purchaser. Each API key or subscription is issued to a single business entity or individual. Keys may not be shared, transferred, sublicensed, or resold to any third party.
No redistribution. API data, scores, and forecast outputs may not be redistributed, resold, or made available to third parties as a standalone data product or feed. Integration into your own application or platform for end-user display is permitted under applicable tier limits.
No competing products. API data may not be used to train, develop, or derive a competing weather index or scoring product.
Attribution required. Any public-facing display of Just Right Weather data must include visible attribution such as "Powered by Just Right Weather" with a link to justrightweather.com.
Abuse and rate limits. Excessive usage beyond your tier limits, automated scraping, or circumvention of rate limiting may result in immediate key revocation without refund.
API subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe or RapidAPI depending on your purchase channel. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Partial month refunds are not provided. Just Right Weather reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers.
Just Right Weather reserves the right to suspend or revoke API access at any time for violation of these terms, abuse of the service, non-payment, or any other reason at its sole discretion. Upon termination, your obligation to cease use of the API key is immediate.
Weather forecast data is sourced from the U.S. National Weather Service NDFD (National Digital Forecast Database), a public domain data source. Population data used in city rankings is sourced from U.S. Census Bureau records. Just Right Weather's scoring methodology, including the Perfect Weather Index, is proprietary.
These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or API constitutes acceptance of the current version. The last updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
